POSITION STATEMENT
Manage company fleet requirements, including but not limited to services and repairs. Manage, update and report on the company asset register, to ensure Realtime tracking, engage with all stakeholders on asset requirements as per the company growth and ensure the correct assets are implemented to maintenance company performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Main Competencies
- Attention to detail.

- Disseminate vehicle and safety information to drivers.
- Assures departmental compliance with a timely accident and vehicle damage reporting requirements, vehicle safety inspections, and emissions inspections.
Main Objectives
- Determine the scope of the repair or maintenance work needed to be done, prioritize the work repair orders and communicate the information to the department manager.
- Tool inspection.
- Stock control and collection coordination.
- Assist with process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulations.
- Action any fleet reporting and monitoring.
- Daily reporting on flagged vehicles.
- Asset tracking and orders
- Asset registry to be updated in real-time.
- Completing Incident and Insurance forms
- Updating QuickBase weekly (Fleet)
- Issuing of traffic fines received
- Ensure all equipment is serviced

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12
- Tertiary qualification advantageous
- Minimum 3 years fleet and Asset management.
- Minimum 3 years fleet controlling.
- Finance background.
- Asset planning, tracking, and ageing.
- Driving License (at least 3 year driving experience)
- Risk management: experience in identification, assessment, and management of risks. (advantageous)
- Training, incl. coaching, workshops. (advantageous)
