POSITION STATEMENT
The project manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating projects according to predetermined timelines and standards. Managing and reporting on project resources, reporting to the project Stakeholders and Management. Ensuring quality control is executed to standards throughout project life cycles.
DUTIES
- Develop Project kick off deliverables
- Set up weekly works order meetings to track and firm up target dates
- Organizing the various professional people working on a project
- Managing risk and escalation management
- Making sure that all the aims of the project are met
- Making sure the quality standards are met
- Using IT systems to keep track of people, progress & resources
- Monitoring internal network upgrade teams to ensure guidelines are maintained
- Overseeing the accounting, costing and billing
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Matric
- Technical –Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred
- Diploma in Project Management or PMP
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Project Management
- Proven track record and experience
- Knowledge of Project Management Methodology
- Extensive knowledge of Project Planning, Scheduling and Budgeting
