POSITION STATEMENT
To handle, record and complete daily physical stock transfers, picking and packing of orders, managing good warehousing and replenishment of low stock items.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively participate in performing periodic and random stock counts (main warehouse and technicians)
- Capturing of count records on the system
- Variance/s identification / investigations
- Performing regular stock checks and informing Supervisor / preparing the Purchase Requisitions to ensure no stock outs
- Capturing and completing of all jobs into the system
- Checking of all stock received in the Warehouse
- Packing of all stock received neatly in the correct location
- Correctly receiving, recording, capturing of stock received from supplier
- Check stock requested for has the correct picking slip
- Check details on the slip are correct for stock issued to Tech (Site/tech, Date, Captured by and Quantities to dispatch)
- Check, sign and file stock dispatched
- Order and Pick Stock correctly as per slips
- Ensure all stock transfers are processed into the system
- Ensure access to the warehouse is monitored and controlled
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment (good warehouse keeping)
- Prepare weekly Purchase requisitions/orders
- Maintain required stock levels (as per KPIs)
- Receive, check and sign stock correctly into the warehouse
- Capture stock movements correctly
- Ensure safeguarding of stock
- Management and updating of ONTs and trackers
- Weekly ONT stock count reports provided to Vuma

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- Stock management / warehouse experience an advantage
- Microsoft Office (Experience in Outlook, Excel, Word) desired
