Main Objective

Our company is seeking to hire a skilled IT Administrator that will be responsible for providing technical support to internal employees and ensuring that all IT systems are functioning efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and offering general IT support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Support: Assist employees with setting up and configuring hardware and software, responding to help desk requests, and training users on basic IT systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide first and second-line support for hardware and software issues. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other office equipment.
  • System Maintenance: Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure.
  • Network Support: Assist with the management and maintenance of the company’s network infrastructure, including troubleshooting connectivity issues and supporting wireless networks.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on IT issues, solutions, procedures, and network configuration.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including IT management, to implement new IT projects or resolve technical challenges.
  • Compliance: Ensure that IT operations comply with company policies, industry regulations and best practices. Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive information and maintain data integrity.

Experience

At least one-year corporate experience in End-User Support and System configuration, maintenance.

  • Technical, strong understanding of IT Systems, network infrastructure.
  • Communication, excellent verbal and written.
  • Problem -solving with ability to quickly address and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide first and second-level LAN & desktop support
  • Remote support.
  • Security: access Control, CCTV.
  • Router and manageable switches configuration.
  • Install and configure new IT equipment
  • Ability to measure SLA
  • Reporting
  • Project Management, managing multiple projects simultaneously with effective planning, execution and delivery.
  • Risk management: experience in identification, assessment, and management of risks. (essential)
  • Training, incl. coaching, and workshops. (advantageous)
  • Call Centre (advantageous)
  • AAD Experience (advantageous)
  • Cloud Environment Understanding (Advantageous)
  • MS 365 Admin Centers (Advantageous)

Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • Driver’s License
  • Tertiary qualifications in computer sciences or development
  • A+ N+ certificate,
  • Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Azure, Exchange Server and security + (Advantageous)
  • Driver’s License.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with occasional on-call hours as required.
  • Occasional travel to remote offices.
  • End user support.
  • Ability to move and install IT equipment (e.g. laptops, computers, servers, cabinet switches)
