MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
The Regional Manager is responsible for managing and evaluating the regions performance according to predetermined targets, key performance indicators (KPIs) and project timelines.
He/she will provide execution support to each region assigned across a broad range of functions, departments and structures providing seamless engagement between the
Effectively communicate functional department targets to regional managers in a timely and clear fashion
- Report back on progress towards targets throughout the month
- Provide support to the regional manager at head office across all departments and functions to enable better and improved execution in the region

- Proactively manage changes in the regional scope, ensure that any change to the scope is documented and approved
- Identify potential crises, devise contingency plans
- Plan and facilitate effective regional updates and meetings
- Liaise with business partners including but not limited to Vumatel, Frogfoot, Evotel, Vumacam and SADV
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members. Influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Take corrective action (if required).

Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree / diploma in Project Management, Engineering or another relevant field
• At least 5 years project management or account management experience of which 2 years in the telecommunication industry
• Project Management certification or equivalent
• MS Office suite including MS Projects and Excel skills
• Project & programme management: able to manage complex projects including concurrent projects
